| 内容記述 | A clan lineage of Chinese muslims has hardly been studied. Some scholar denies even the existence of such lineage. The writer has discovered two kinds of muslim lineage in the collections of National Diet Library and of the Tôyô-Bunko—the one being, Mi-shih Tsung-p’u (米氏宗譜) and the other P’i-ling Sha-shih Chung-chi Tsu-p’u (毘陵沙氏重輯族譜). By examining these two we can study clan organization, matrimony, adoption, burial ground and other aspects of life of muslims in Central China. If we compare these with the muslims of Inner Mongolia, explored by Prof. Shinobu IWAMURA, we can see that these Chinese muslims are strongly influenced by the traditional culture of China and that they represent a very much degenerated type of muslims.Further by investigating T’u-shih P’i-ling Chih-p’u (屠氏毘陵支譜) possessed by National Diet Library and the Institute for Oriental Culture, the writer has observed the position of Chinese converted to Islam amidst the Chinese clan system. He also has studied how the muslim society in China had developed during the Ming period. | |||||||||||
